1. Delhi Government launches portal for coordination between employers and job seekers.

Rojgar Bazaar Delhi Government Job Portal named as “Rozgar Bazaar” domain name is www.jobs.delhi.gov.in. On 27th July 2020, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a Delhi Job Portal Rozgar Bazaar for Job Seekers and Employers and help to revive the post-COVID-19 economy from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. The Rozgaar Bazaar Job Portal will help to decrease the unemployment rate in Delhi City. He said that the street vendors, hawkers from today will be allowed to sell their wares freely in the national capital.

2. 1 crores to be sanctioned by Delhi Government to upgrade existing internet connections and digitize court record

The Delhi Government has sanctioned over Rs 6 crores for the digitization of District Court records and upgrading the existing internet connection to 1gbps in all District Court complexes. (Anand Vaid vs Preety Vaid vs Ors). An affidavit to this effect was filed by the Delhi Government before Delhi High Court in a petition seeking directions to Family Courts to allow recording of evidence via video conferencing during the COVID-19 pandemic… sanction of expenditure of Rs 3.0 Crores towards digitization of approximately three crore pages of court files have been granted (by the Delhi Government) on 11.06.2020. Similarly, administrative approval and expenditure sanction of Rs 3,20,38,200/- has been granted for up-gradation/enhancement of the existing leased lines from 34 Mbps to 1gbps in all District Courts complexes. 

3. NCLAT appointment of Retd. HC Judge as officiating Chairman HC concedes the plea challenging the appointment

Delhi High Court issued notice to the Central Government while taking up a PIL challenging the appointment of Justice Bansi Lal Bhat as the Officiating Chairperson of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). The Central Government, in March this year after the completion of the term of service of justice SJ MUKHOPADHAYA and after resigning from the post, had appointed judicial member BANSI LAL BHAT as the officiating chairperson of NCLAT.
