US woman accuses former Pakistan Prime Minister and former home minister of sexual harassment
A big tornado has arisen in the political circles of Pakistan at this time. Behind this political storm is an American blogger living in Pakistan. Whose name is Cynthia D. Ritchie. Cynthia has accused many leaders of Pakistan’s People’s Party of Pakistan’s People’s Party of sexual harassment and rape. On June 5, Cynthia alleged through a live video of her Facebook account that she was raped in 2011 by Rehman Malik, who was the home minister in the Pakistan Peoples Party government. At the same time, Cynthia also leveled serious charges against Pakistan People’s Party leader and former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani.
KARNATAKA HC: BURNING HUTS OF MIGRANTS, TAKING ADVANTAGE OF LOCKDOWN UNFORTUNATE
On Thursday, The Karnataka HC has asked the State Government for the reasons why the government was lacking behind from taking required actions in March when around 90 unoccupied huts of migrant workers were burnt down by offenders near the Sunday Bazar area in Bengaluru East. A bench of two judges comprising of Chief Justice Abhay Oka and Justice E S Indiresh observed :
“The State will have to take this matter seriously. In the capital city taking benefits of lockdown, some people are burning huts of poor people is the most unfortunate incident.”
SC SHIFTS THE SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE WHICH INVOLVED HARYANA GANGSTER’S SON TO DELHI
The Supreme Court has shifted trial in one of the sexual assault cases from Haryana to Delhi after minor victim’s family produced evidence to show the way the accused, son of the noted gangster in the state, was issuing the mortal threats that made it impossible for them to attend the trial at Gurgaon court. The series of threats were being given through WhatsApp messages as well as phone calls to the girl’s mother. Presenting the entire evidence in SC, the victim’s mother told the single-judge bench of Justice Hrishikesh Roy, “petitioner can no longer attend the court hearings due to fear to her life.”
